Denfeld High School
Season Recap/Preview
Duluth Denfeld had yet another season to remember, with a final record of 10-6-1. Just four years ago the Hunters finished a season with just 4 wins. The team has put in some serious training hours and it is paying off. The 2020-2021 season ended after a loss to a very talented Hermantown team in the section championship. The Hunters look to build on this success and take the next step.
Northern Stars High School
Season Recap/Preview
The Stars finished the year with a 5-14 record. With a tough schedule and a season like that there were plenty of positives to take away. The high point of the season was defeating Princeton in a impressive 7-0 victory.. The Stars have plenty of young talent returning! The 2021-2022 season should be a fun one for the Duluth Northern Stars!
East High School
Season Recap/Preview
The 2020-21 season was another tough one for the Duluth East Greyhounds. East finished the season at 6-8-2 during the shortened season due to covid. Although the record was not the greatest the team did have strong efforts throughout the season. The Greyhounds will have a different look on the Bench. Steve Pitoscia will be taking over coaching duties, and he will be looking to get East back to their winning ways.

Mitch Korn Camp
Mitch Korn has come to town!
Mitch is in his 32nd year in the NHL, currently with the NY Islanders, after notable stints with the Washington Capitals, Nashville Predators, and Buffalo Sabres. He’s known for his exceptional coaching, having mentored many top goaltenders, including Vezina Trophy winners Braden Holtby and Dominik Hasek. Mitch’s expertise has earned him recognition as one of hockey’s top minds, and his influence extends beyond players to a generation of coaches in the NHL and beyond. Fondly referred to as “Children of the Korn,” his protégés have spread his coaching philosophy throughout the sport. With over 40 years of experience running summer hockey programs, Mitch remains deeply involved and absolutely “hands-on”.
